Welcome To BlackSentry. This is a free online game created by OmegaJasam and PyroFlare. This game strives to be different to the many other games of its type, doing new things and using different systems to what has been seen before. The game is still being created, and there is a lot more planned for the future! V4 is currently in beta.... V3 is as complete as it will be and is currently available on the classic section.

Movement
There 4 buttons on the top left part of the screen, if you click one of them you will notice the numbers beneath it change, these are your co-ordinates. The realm maps will also show your location as a red spot on the map. If you go off the edge of a map, you will sometimes warp to the other side, and other times will just hit a wall. Some quests require you to have a certain item to travel to certain areas of a map, and sometimes walking of the edge of one map can lead to another Map entirely.

Stats and what they do
There are no levels in this game, instead when you kill a monster your stats will increase.
Fighting Stats
Strength - This determines how much damage you will do to the Enemy
Defence - This Reduces Damage you take from the enemy
Agility - This determines if you get the first attack
Life-Force - If this runs out you will be unable to fight
*These stats do NOT take your equipment into account when shown in the area tables*
Other Stats
Power Crystals - These determine several things about the game world, there is more info below.
Rank - This is a measure of how powerful you are in the game world, there is another section which goes into more detail about this
Gems - This is used for buying new Equipment. Obtained in fights and as Rewards
Power Crystals
Power Crystals are obtained from fighting and as rewards. They Determine several things in the game.
There are also Rewards for passing Certain Benchmarks! see the Quest Section for more information.
Equipment
V4 has a NEW equip system... all types of equip can now have any stat on them. Examine them on the equip page to see what they have.
Take note, the stats shown when buying from the shops are only an approximation of it's power!
Equipment can be currently found in shops and via random equipment set drops. Requirements to access each level of shop is shown below.

Areas
These are the individual grid references within a realm, most standard realms will have these standard areas.
Shop - You can leave to the shop at these area
Bank - You can bank your Gems to prevent loss when you die
Heal - You can restore You Lifeforce at these areas
Portals/Rifts - These lead to other Realms
Special Areas
These areas are locations that can change if you meet certain conditions, for example The Paths of Trail found in the Dimensional Limbo. To find out about these special areas, please look under the Realm section of the Manual.
Realms
There are many realms that can be travelled to the realm, however there is some significance to which area you are in.
Firstly Realms that have higher rank requirements to get into will have higher level monsters, areas with the same rank requirements might have some modification to the monsters stats and possibly even rewards!
Secondly different Realms give better/different growth to your stats. Higher Rank areas will give better total stat gain then a lower rank realm, and realms with the same rank requirements may give slightly different boosts to different stats when you kill a monster.
Special Realms
There are also some areas that don't fall into the normal class of realms. These realms tend to be linier in shape, and are normally used for Quests, Rank Quests and shops.
The Game World
The Game world has greatly changed since V3, due to the failure of the beings of the time to stop the Insanely powerful Chaos being, most of the NPCs are out of action, missing, or busy trying to restore the massive amount of damage done in the attack!
Important Beings
The Cloaked Being
This being is one of the most mysterious found in the Realms, even his Race is Unknown, However he is Said to be of a Rank above the Highest 10th Rank! Some of his activities will be mentioned here.
He seems to be at odds with Jamila, this is unsurprising, as they both seem to be trying to obtain that which the BlackSentry guards.
Jamila - AKA Masked Woman
Her Power was once Sealed by the Cloaked being, however with the help of the beings of the Realms, she has kept the seal weakened, and seems to be trying to obtain the power of the BlackSentry and will not let any Member of the Town of Light or Darkness have it, especially the Cloaked Being, who even she does not know the intentions of.

The Insanely Powerful Chaos Being
V3 - The Insanely Powerful Chaos being once attacked The Dimensional Limbo soon after the fall of The Dimension Keeper of the Dimensional Limbo.... It was so powerful that no one could take a hit, it was not until the Cloaked being revealed its power and Blasted it with a powerful attack, that it came close to being weakened, after it was weakened the Chaos Being Sealed it, and now uses it as a test for the Second rank.
It eventually broke it's seal after the prison was blasted from the south. It nearly destroyed all of Dimensional Limbo, but the 10th Rank NPCs stopped it just short of achieving this goal. It was last seen vanishing along with everything else in a massive burst of chaos energy.
The Supreme Demon who rules the Town of Darkness
Not much is known about this Demon, not even his name. He rules over the Town of Darkness form his Castle and is said to be of the Tenth and Highest Rank. He hasn't been seen much after the battle with the insanely powerful Chaos being, and was greatly injured in the battle.
The Celestial Angel who rules the Town of Light
Not much is known about this Angel, not even her name. She rules over the Town of Light from her Palace and is said to be of the Tenth and Highest Rank. She hasn't been seen much after the battle with the insanely powerful Chaos being, and was greatly injured in the battle.
There are 6 races that populate the realms, divided quite clearly into followers of light and darkness. The races Base stats determine at what rate they gain in each stat, and thus what they excel, and where their shortcomings are...

Higher Tier Races
By completing certain Quests you can obtain and Advanced race and eventually a Higher Race.
Obtaining a Advanced Race will increase all your bases stats!

Dimensional Limbo

Description
A strange Realm that is sort of void of the concept of time, is a lack of a dimension somewhere between them, and a place prone to having portals torn in it which lead to other Realms. It has recently been infected by huge amounts of Chaotic energies, making the whole of the Dimensional Limbo unstable.
Special Areas
Paths of Trial (2,2)
This area is said to have many portals leading to realms with many trials contained within. It is unknown what the purpose of this strange area is. The attack of the Insanely Powerful Chaos Being caused the trials to become very chaotic, which makes them impossible for rank advancement.
Insanely Powerful Chaos Beings Seal/Crater (4,2)
V3 - Early in the Development of the realms, the Dimensional Limbo was attacked by The Insanely Powerful Chaos Being, However mostly thanks to the Cloaked Beings incredible power it was sealed in a rift at this location. Since then The Cloaked being has been using the Sealed Chaos Being to test for people worth of the Second rank... It is also said that this place has become quite a land mark in Limbo, with the Cloaked Being Turning up there regularly.
V4 - This is now a huge crater where OJ's space station crashed and fired of it's planet using lasers.

A long time ago the portals to the Towns was Sealed by The Dimensional Keeper of Limbo, with the help of the Cloaked Being the beings of the time were able to attack the keeper, and he retreated, unsealing the Portals...
However all the other Keepers that have attacked were destroyed, and when they did a new area was unsealed... since this is the Keeper of Limbo, and he wasn't truly defeated, could it return, and what would be the result of its destruction?
It is said that the blast which started all the troubles with the Insanely Powerful Chaos Being came from here, but hardly anybody noticed.
Erratic Portal (1,1)
This strange portal has such strange energy that weak beings cannot enter, however it is said it has come into existence due to another portal being inside it, leading to the Crazy Forest... However this portal is currently Inaccessible due to the huge amounts of chaos energies left over.

These are the plains outside of the Town of Light. The Ruler of the Town of Light opened this portal in order to restore access to the Town of light.

Description
The Town of Light was unsealed when the Dimension Keeper of Limbo Retreated, The Keeper of the Town of Light fell to The Town of Darkness in a Siege.
The Town of Light is the centre of activities for beings of the Light, it is ruled over by a Celestial Angel. Due to this realm being located within a portal to a realm, Some very strange enemies can be found in this strange forest.
It is most Famous for its Flying Blue Pig Armadas, and Enemies randomly exploding.
In this area a number of random events can happen when you kill an enemy....

What you Rank is, and what it does...
The Ranking System in the realms is a measure of a beings power, low Rank beings are often ignored by the more powerful Beings, and are refused access to areas, shops and even the Towns if you are Unranked! However anyone able to obtain the Tenth Rank is more powerful then you can begin to imagine...
By completing special quests you can increase your Rank. By Increasing your rank you will gain several benefits
As you can see getting a higher Rank is very important to progress through the game, however doing so is not easy.
How to get a higher Rank
To obtain a higher rank you must complete a special quest. When you complete the quest your rank will increase, and you will gain the benefits that go with it. Remember that these quests can be quite hard, and later ones will be even more so!

BIG BOSS BATTLES AND SPECIAL EVENTS
From time to time it has been known for Incredibly powerful creatures to attack the realms. These creatures have life-forces in the Trillions, and to combat them it takes multiple players!
There are usually good the best Power Crystal, money and stat rewards for fighting a boss (scaled to your rank), however they don't follow the normal rules of damage, there is no way to tell what will actually affect them!
Anyone who fights a Boss will get a title for fighting that boss, however the Being who delivers the final Blow will obtain the Boss Killer title and a substantial reward! With the release of V4, this often means One-Of-A-Kind-Items.
It is also of note that some bosses, namely the Dimensional Keepers, when defeated will no longer be able to seal the portal to the area they once guarded, meaning new areas being opened, and are also said to be linked to the fighting of the BlackSentry...
